Self Enhancement.

Its been a long time since I update my blog.. I don't know what's on my mind right now..I just feel like I need to GET-A-LIFE! I already reach the stage where I need to get my mind transform from a student minded to someone with matured minded. Its kinda hard for me to accept the fact that I AM WORKING RIGHT NOW. Yeah, its been 3 months, and counting and I just don't know what my future would be. You know how hard to get a job right now especially for BBA student. I just don't wanna be jobless. Working as a credit controller at Sunway University does not make me satisfied enough in terms of the salary but I need to keep on reminding myself to be GRATEFUL! At least I gain something, experience of course. Only now I know how hard for us to earn for living. We need to appreciate, i repeat, APPRECIATE every single penny that we worked for. I wonder how one could survive with my rate of salary. Luckily I'm staying with my family (no need to pay for house rental, foods etc.). SELF-ENHANCEMENT. That's what I need!!! I have a passion to set up a business. Hopefully, one day I will.. I need some inspiration. Perhaps I need to attend this seminar ---> http://www.hidupluarbiasa.com/ :D Okay Myra, you need to do something for yourself. GO GO GO!

The Moonlight.

Its been ages since I ever wrote any poems. Hmm..today I feel like writing one..

THE MOONLIGHT.

Every time I look into the night sky,
I wonder if I can find the star that shines the most,
Thousands of stars appear to be the same,
So I keep on waiting,
With my pocket full of hope,

One day, I found one,
It such a bliss,
No more dimmed night,
No more sorrow,
No more lying in the dolour,

But,
Somehow it disappear,
It fades away from my sight,
Far away,
I feel lost,
Lost drowning in the gloomy night,
Yet, I keep on waiting again,
Lying on the green grass of hope,

Oh wait!
There's something dazzling my eyes,
Suddenly it caught my attention,
I wonder why I didn't realize there's something that lighten my night?
Its been there,
Always.
Never failed to squire the light of serene night,
Never failed to show up when the night has come and the land is dark,
Only now I realize how precious it is,
I hope it never turn me down again,
Yes you,
The moonlight.

High Heels VS Fertility.

I believe some of us are soooo into heels, but then, I would say, I'm not in the group. I prefer to wear flats or anything comfort. Just thinking of sharing couples of informations about the effects of wearing high heels. So check it outtttttt!

1. your BACK

The normal s-curve shape of the back acts as a shock absorber, reducing reduce stress on the vertebrae. Wearing high heels causes lumbar (low-back) spine flattening and a posterior (backward) displacement of the head and thoracic (mid-back) spine. High heel shoes cause you to lean forward and the body's response to that is to decrease the forward curve of your lower back to help keep you in line. Poor alignment may lead to muscle overuse and back pain.

2. your KNEES

Knee osteoarthritis is twice as common in women. Some of that blame may be due to high heels. The knee stays flexed (bent) and the tibia (shin bone) turns inward (varus) when wearing high heels. This position puts a compressive force on the inside of the knee (medial), a common site of osteoarthritis. If you already have osteoarthritis, it is best to avoid wearing high heel shoes. High heels increase the distance from the floor to the knee and can result in increased knee torque which can also lead to osteoarthritis.

3. your ANKLES

High heels limit the motion and power of the ankle joint. The calf muscles (gastrocnemius & soleus) are shortened because of the heel height. The shortened muscles cause them to lose power when trying to push the foot off of the ground. The position of the ankle may also cause a shortening (contraction) of the achilles tendon. This can increase the pull of the achilles tendon where it attaches on the back of your heel bone (calcaneus) and may cause a condition called insertional achilles tendonitis.

4. your HIPS

The hip flexor muscles are located on the upper front part of your thighs. They are forced to work much harder and longer to help you walk because your feet are held in a downward position (plantarflexed) and have reduced power to move your body forward. If your hip flexor muscles are chronically overused, the muscles can shorten and a contracture can occur. If a contracture occurs, this could lead to flattening of the lumbar (low-back) spine.

5. your FEET

With the foot in a downward position, there is significant increase in the pressure on the bottom (plantar) of the forefoot. The pressure increases as the height of the shoe heel increases. Wearing a 3 1/4 inch heel increases the pressure on the bottom of the forefoot by 76%. The increased pressure may lead to pain or foot deformities such as hammer toes, bunions, bunionettes (tailor's bunions) and neuromas. The downward foot position (plantarflexion) also causes the foot to be more supinated (turned to the outside). This change in foot position changes the line of pull of the achilles tendon and may cause a condition called Haglund's deformity (pump bump).

6. your POSTURE

A high heel shoe puts your foot in a plantarflexed (foot pointed downward) position, placing an increased amount of pressure on your forefoot. This causes you to adjust the rest of your body to maintain your balance. The lower part of your body leans forward and to compensate for that, the upper part of your body must lean back to keep you balanced. This is not your body's normal standing position.

7. your BALANCE

Walking in high heel shoes is like walking on a balance beam. It takes a lot of balance and just like teetering on a beam, there is not any support in a high heel shoe to catch you if you fall. High heel shoes cause your foot and ankle to move in a supinated (turned outward) position. This position puts you at risk for losing your balance and spraining your ankles.

BUT....

HOW DOES HIGH HEELS AFFECT FERTILITY?????

"............When women feel fat in the lower abdomen, often the reason for it is that their stomach contents are pushing against the front of their pelvis. This can slow down the gastric function, lead to menstrual dysfunction and can ultimately impair fertility." - Daz Moy, Health expert.

So, what say you?

High heels? They are not worth the risk! Especially when we're talking about FERTILITY! I know we need to leave to Allah when it comes to our destiny, but this is only one of a factor that can contribute to it, for our precaution. But yeahhh its okay if we want to wear it not for a long hours. Wearing it at special occasions and for formal purpose should be okay :)

Sejuta Cinta by Marshanda

Lyrics

Sudah memang sudah
Perjalanan cinta berakhir sudah
Engkau pergi ‘tuk selamanya
‘tuk selamanya

Mungkin ini sudah suratan
Engkau dan diriku tak bisa bersama
Mungkin ini sudah suratan
Sudah suratan

Reff:
Jangan kau pergi untuk meninggalkan aku
Aku disini dengan sejuta cinta untukmu
Jangan kau pergi untuk melupakan aku
Aku menangis karena hidup tanpamu

Sudah memang sudah
Perjalanan cinta berakhir sudah
Engkau pergi ‘tuk selamanya
‘tuk selamanya

P/S: I love the melodies, the lyrics.ohhh..I can feel that.

Lets Cook!

BUTTERMILK CHICKEN (Malaysian Version)

I need to WARN you that this is a veryyy fattening dish! But then its okay to give a try once in a blue moon :)So, here is the recipe:

Ingredients:
chickennnnnnnn (of course ;p ) cut it into the cubes
200grams butter/margarine
200grams evaporated milk (depends how much you want)
curry leaves
chili padi/ dried chili
corn flour + water (to make the sauce thicken)
salt
sugar

Directions:
Part A
Boil the chicken and put some salt. (you can fry it with flour of course but thinking of how FATTENING the buttermilk is, so I rather boil it).DO NOT boil it too long. After boiled, shake off the excess water.Put it away.erk,away?haha..okay,just hold on as you need to proceed with part B.

Part B
1. melt the butter and saute with the curry leaves and dried chili.(in order to get the aromaaaaa but the dried chili is an optional)
2. pour an evaporated milk as much as you want (make sure its tally with the quantity of the melted butter. Keep on stirring.
3. put the chili padi (only if you don't put the dried chili)
4. now, pour the mixture of (corn flour and water) as thick as you want.Don't put too much because we want to coat it with the boiled chicken and have the sauce mingle around it :p
5. add some sugar and salt. Careful if you are using the salted butter.
6. Put the chicken and coat it with the sauce (buttermilk sauce you made just now) and and and..tadaaaaaaa!!!!finish.yeayy!

P/S: Let me know if any of you have tried this recipe.Don't blame me if it doesn't turn up as what you expected. Please ask for your mummmy's advise if you are not sure of the 'random' mixture quantity.ngeh3..
FYI, based from the picture, I didn't use any dried chili.

Credit goes to........AZIRA ANWAR! thank you dear :) oh, to my bff too.I know you definitely will stalk this ms.bff.hahaha..
